Sincerest apologies for abandoning you for too long, dear blog!
I was really busy. Really. BUSY. with my new life of course. Being a mother, a wife, a daughter, a sister, a teacher... I. Am. Super. Busy.
But now I have decided to start blogging because I can finally juggle the new roles efficiently. ha ha.
Many things happened in 2013 and the early months of 2014 that I rather not share. It was just me being pregnant, got Bell's Palsy a week before I gave birth, then gave birth to my son, confinement period, adjusting myself to being a mom, going to hospital for treatments and physio session, transferred to another school closer to home, and so on.
Life has been great and I wake up everyday looking at myself in the mirror (to check whether my prior Bell's Palsy's smile has returned or not, NO!) feeling grateful to ALLAH SWT that I am given another day to spend wisely and to repent for all the sins I have committed.
I enjoy being a mom. My son is the most ultimate gift from ALLAH SWT. To watch him smile, cry, walk and play is precious to me. He can now say "Heyyo (Hello)", "Abah", "pis (fish), "duck", "Nak", "Dah" and "Mamam". Now...where's "Mommy"? Been putting extra effort to get him to say the word but boy... he doesn't even care to repeat after me.
Teaching is quite stressful these days. Some pupils still cannot recognise the letters (we have a week left before school holidays) and the teachers are panicking! God, Year Two teachers must be mad at us! Need to start introducing ABC to Emir now. My two-year old nephew can say A-Z.. so Emir, you better learn your letters! And I just received news that I will be the class teacher for 1 Gemilang, the 5th out of six classes next year! Help!!
Anyway, I learned so many things this year. It is tough when you are a working mom and your husband is only there (physically) for you and your child for two weeks every month. And now he thinks we should start planning for the second baby. I was like... "what???"
Hehe. If there's rezeki, why not. :P
